Miami Shores Village, FL Community

Miami Shores Village does not have a dedicated farmers market, but many nearby markets make it easy to pick up fresh, local food any day of the week. If you want to fill your basket with ripe, colorful produce, grab coffee and a pastry, or pick up a unique handmade gift, these markets are open on a wide range of days and times—so you can stop by before work, after school, or over the weekend, depending on what fits your schedule.

Mr. Fresh Farmers Market in North Miami Beach is open every day, with hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. This makes it a reliable stop for fresh ingredients and ready-to-eat meals any day of the week.

If you like to plan your market trips around your weekend, you have lots of choices. The Miami Lakes Farmers Market happens every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering everything from fresh vegetables to flowers and gifts.

The Coconut Grove Organic Farmers Market is also a Saturday tradition, open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and is a great spot for organic produce, raw vegan snacks, and a wide selection of salads. For another Saturday option, the Miami Springs Farmer’s Market is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., but only from October through March, so check the calendar if you are visiting outside of those months.

The Legion Park Farmers Market, managed by the Urban Oasis Project, is a Saturday morning highlight, open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Biscayne and NE 66th Street. It is a great place to stock up on seafood, eggs, meats, and vegan dishes to get your week started right.

If you are at Aventura Mall, you can explore the Aventura Market on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., so you can shop and visit the market in one go. The Lincoln Road Farmers Market on South Beach is a Sunday destination, running from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., making it a lively spot for a leisurely morning of shopping, people-watching, and snacking.

Sunday mornings are good for a relaxed visit to Pinecrest Gardens Farmers Market, open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., or Vizcaya Village Farmers Market, open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., both offering fresh produce, artisan items, and wellness activities like yoga.

Surfside Farmers Market is another Sunday option, open seasonally from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., just steps from the beach, so you can shop and then enjoy the sand and surf. For a special treat, the Vizcaya Village Night Market is held once a month, usually from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., offering a chance to browse crafts and specialty foods after dark.

For a fun family outing, check out the Zoo Miami Farmers Market, held on the first and third weekend of every month from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., free and open to the public just outside the zoo entrance. If you want an island getaway, Farmers Market Key Biscayne runs Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with food trucks, baked goods, and crafts in a breezy, laid-back setting.

No matter what day you visit, these markets offer local flavors and fresh finds—always a good reason to look forward to the morning or enjoy a relaxed weekend outing. Most have easy parking and are family-friendly, so you can bring everyone along for the experience. These are the markets that keep Miami’s tables colorful, its cafes buzzing, and its produce baskets filled with the best the city has to offer.
